I just finished watching The Hollow Crown - a 5 part series based on Shakespeare's Richard II, Henry IV and Henry V. I don't need a happy ending ... just an actual ending.
Unresolved situations are tough.
I did watch Daisy Jones because a friend had raved about it...I didn't enjoy it but I'm a completist so I finished it. The last series I finished was Berlin on Netflix - it was a prequel to the Money Heist series. I enjoyed it. Ooops I just looked and it's been approved for another season, so I guess I'm not really done.
Money Heist was a very long sog till I got into it.
@CleavageFan4U if you were a bit 'meh' about Money Heist, probably skip Berlin since it's much in the same mode. I did always enjoy the Berlin character, so I liked it. 😊 And there are four very hot young Spanish actors who are part of his crew, sooooo...
@smartasswoman I did eventually get into it, but the very...monotone...dubbing...was...a...drag...too.
@CleavageFan4U ah, I can imagine! I'm pretty sure I watched it in Spanish with English subtitles. Did the same with Berlin.
I read the "Daisy Jones and the Six" book and have started watching the show. The show right off the bat is different than the book (aren't they always), but I'm guessing the twist you mentioned will be the same. I found the show a bit blah but maybe only because I generally already know the story having read the book first.
I don't require happy endings, but they are always nice - both in movies/books and otherwise. Didn't get a happy ending of the other sort this morning, but hubs did at least. I just finished two seasons of "Legacies" which is a vampire diaries spinoff (a show I watched years ago because of all the hot men - one of which is in the spinoff). It's pretty predictable too, but makes for good enough brain candy as I sat at home all weekend sick (again - ugh).
The vampire stuff can be quite hot, but I'm not really into it.
Hope you feel better soon.
If I'm "nursing" Hubby with a nice blowjob, I don't require a Happy Ending at all. His happiness is what matters. Hell, sometimes I don't even take my pants off! LOL!!
I'm at the end of Season 7 of "Suits" right now. Ohhhh, that Harvey Spector makes me drool! I've also watched most of Michael Flanagan's haunted shows. They're awesome!
That picture makes me want to squirt!!
Squirters make ME happy.
I do not require happy endings in tv shows or movies. There are times I will be choosy to find that happy ending. Mainly to perk up my own mood.
Are we still talking tv entertainment?
I rewatched The Gilded Age. Early American drama by Julian Fellowes. Same writer as Downton Abbey.
We discuss all the various kinds of happy endings here. 😁
Perfect
For sure.
Wait, are you saying that most US citizens would enjoy a hand job? Then why don’t our representatives in Congress make it legal? You wouldn’t be suggesting that we have no representation would you? L O L.
They're too busy getting happy endings to do anything about the larger issue.
I need this....make me squirt!!!
I'll bet.
TWO of them?
Seriously people??!! 🤬
